{Real} Little House :: The Namesake

Well it's the end of our first week here at Little House so I thought what is more fitting than finally introducing you to it's namesake?! In case you haven't gotten around to reading the "About Me" section here is a quick overview:

The Little House is a little gem of a fixer upper nestled in what I like to call an 'up & coming neighborhood' in West Fort Worth. Michael's Grandfather owns the home and has made us a heck of a deal, an offer we can't refuse really, so in an effort to be responsible, as debt free as possible, newlyweds we are going to make the most of it. This little house has a lot of potential so I can't wait to uncover it all & chronicle it here on this blog.

So.... drum roll please....

First off, I can't WAIT to paint over this yellow trim and jazz up this curb appeal! So, on today's post I want to share some exterior paint and curb appeal inspirations I've been pinning:

I love the paint color scheme here. Especially the turquoise door. Gray + turquoise = my heaven.

Eventually I would love to enclose the porch in like this photo. But until then this photo with the colorful door and topiary on either side of the porch will do:

and of course... I love hydrangeas!

Apologies on the different fonts on today's post.... things are acting crazy and I don't know why! ;)

  2. Oh, it's so cute! I, for one, prefer smaller houses to big houses. Can't wait to see what you do with it :)
